Land for a home garden can be purchased ready-made at an agricultural store. For growing onions, mixtures with a high sandy component or universal are suitable. Some people try to grow a feather in a pot in sawdust with added earth.

You can make soil for plants yourself without a ready-made mixture. It is possible to grow a feather in soil at home in an ordinary flower pot, you can plant it in a box, even a plastic bottle without a top will do. Before planting the bulbs, drainage is laid at the bottom of the containers, which is a mixture of expanded clay or brick chips with sand, then the container is filled with peat, humus and ordinary earth at the rate of 7/2/1.

Growing from seeds
