Deproteinized hemoderivative of calf blood is produced by superfiltration and dialysis (in simple terms, they can be solcose). The product contains a large number of low molecular weight bonds and an extract from the blood of young calves. The medication stimulates the acceleration of metabolic processes by increasing the amount of oxygen transported to the organs of life support, as well as accelerating the absorption of glucose into the plasma.

Hemoderivative of calf blood is mostly used in individual European countries. According to the manufacturers, it can be used with a prescription from a general medical practitioner or on its own. The most widespread remedy is distributed in Russia, in the CIS countries, South Korea and China. 70% of the volume of the drug is sold in Russia and the CIS.

Pharmaceutical features

Deproteinized hemoderivat of calf blood is a biological product with a strong effect. The range of its use is quite wide, since the product consists entirely of natural biological materials and has practically no contraindications. It acts on the body as a means of increasing the level of oxygen in the blood, and also:

  • normalizes the pH level;
  • stimulates blood circulation;
  • helps to speed up the processes of tissue regeneration;
  • activates the process of interaction of oxygen with glucose.

The drug is prescribed for scarring scratches and burns, as an external agent. Available in the form of tubes with gel or ointment, injection solution, tablets. At the initial stages, the use of the gel is shown, since it does not contain fat in its composition, after the wound begins to dry out, it is better to use an ointment.

When prescribed

Topical application is indicated for:

  • damage, inflammation of the skin and mucous membranes;
  • boiling water, steam and sun burns;
  • weeping eczema, provoked by varicose veins;
  • bedsores;
  • treatment of acute painful skin reactions as a result of exposure to radiation.

Also shown is the use for the eyes after burns with acids and alkalis, after mechanical damage, in the postoperative period. In diabetes mellitus, the drug improves the conductivity of nerve endings. It also has the property not only to activate the regeneration processes, but also to restore the sensitivity of the affected tissues.

For oral administration, the indications are endarteritis, diabetic gangrene, psychosis, the consequences of brain tissue damage, apoplexy, trauma to the skull and brain, vascular insufficiency with complications.

Method of oral administration

The dosage of hemoderivative of the blood of calves is calculated individually, depending on the intensity and symptomatic picture of the disease. Often shown daily intravenous administration of the drug in a dosage of 5 to 10 ml. The course of treatment with calf blood hemoderivat is 30-38 days. For burns, it is shown from 10 to 20 ml intravenously once a day. The maximum amount of the drug that can be administered in severe cases is 50 ml.

Undiluted biological product is permissible intramuscularly to inject 5 ml. It is recommended to treat tissue lesions and wounds at a time with intravenous injections and external gel. In the therapeutic treatment of metabolic and vascular pathologies, 200-1000 mg per day are prescribed for 14 days before bedtime intravenously. For apoplexy, 800-2000 mg is shown as part of 200-300 ml of glucose solution or 0.9% saline solution intravenously, a course for 7 days.

With radiotherapy, 200-1000 mg is indicated every day in the intervals between radiation exposures or one day before the start of therapy, every day during treatment. The same scheme is shown within 14 days after the completion of the course of radiotherapy, with the transition in the future to taking the drug orally. For the treatment of radiation cystitis, 400 mg is prescribed once daily transurethrally in combination with antibiotics.

Contraindications

Deproteinized hemoderivat of calves' blood practically has no contraindications. The drug should not be used in case of individual intolerance to the components that make up the composition, with pulmonary edema, heart failure, oliguria, anuria, overhydration, fluid retention. Dialysate can be used by pregnant women and during lactation if the benefits of its use are greater than the possible harm.

Deproteinized hemoderavit can have a side effect, which will manifest itself in the form of:

  • allergic reactions;
  • the appearance of local pain syndrome associated with tissue edema.

Coordination of other substances with calf blood hemoderivative should be strictly limited. In order to avoid incompatibility, it is recommended to dilute the injection solution only with sodium chloride. There is practically no data overdose. In case of an overdose, it is necessary to treat the symptoms that appear.

Deproteinized hemoderivat is made from the plasma of healthy dairy calves. The plasma is processed, in the process of hemodialysis, the extract is separated and the extract with an increased content of low molecular weight substances is separated from the cell mass. At the moment, only 2 medicines are produced from the blood of calves: Actovegin and Solcoseryl.
