How to feed pigs with feed yeast

When the additive is soaked, the yeast cells divide, thereby increasing the amount of protein they contain. This is feed yeast, which is actively used in many farms.

There are several ways in which yeast can be produced:

  1. Dough. To do this, take 10 liters of boiled warm water, into which 150-250 g of feed yeast and about 4 kg of concentrates are immersed. After the mass is mixed until smooth, it is left for 5-6 hours in a warm room. While the mixture is fermenting, it is stirred every 30-50 minutes for better aeration of the feed. After that, another 15 kg of concentrates and at least 30 liters of heated water are added. The mixture is left to ferment again for 3 hours, stirring occasionally.
  2. Without dough. In this case, the entire volume of compound feed (20 kg) and 10 liters of warm water with yeast diluted in it is taken at once. Next, the mass is poured into a large container and 35 liters of liquid are added. The yeast lasts about 7-9 hours.
  3. Leaven. This method is the most economical if we take into account the use of compound feed. No more than 35-40% of the total feed is used. The compound feed is poured with warm water and mixed until homogeneous. A solution is added to the feed and left to ferment for 5-7 hours. In order to give the leaven the opportunity to be saturated with oxygen, it is intensively stirred 3-4 times a day. In subsequent times after, before feeding, leave a small part.
