Such products help to create drainage, and therefore the aeration properties of the soil are not disturbed.
Subsequent layers should consist of those materials that are characterized by fast re-heating times. You can use humus, plant tops, or tree foliage. Each layer should be covered with a small layer of soil. For quick heating of the soil, it is recommended to water the trench with warm water. The only drawback of this method is that after a few years, the application of organic matter must be repeated.
