The height of the bush is only 40 cm. According to the description, the leaves are gray-green, the length of the leaf is 20 cm, and the width is about 30 cm. The head of cabbage is round, gray-green in color. It is white when cross-sectioned. On average, the weight of one head of cabbage is 3-5 kg;

Growing rules
The Languedaker cabbage is grown using both seedlings and seeds.
Seedless way
Cultivation by the seedless method consists in the fact that the purchased seeds are planted in a permanent place at the beginning of May. Before that, it is important to make sure that the soil has warmed up to a temperature of 14 ° C. After planting the seeds according to the 40 x 50 cm scheme, the rows are covered with plastic wrap: this accelerates the germination process.
Seedling method
Planting with seedlings begins with the purchased seeds being planted in containers. This procedure is carried out in the middle of March. The distance between the seeds should be 5-7 cm. After that, the container is placed in a warm place, the temperature of which is 20-25 ° C. This allows you to speed up the appearance of the first shoots. As soon as the seedlings have appeared, the temperature is lowered to 15 ° C during the day and 8 ° C at night.
Planting seedlings in a permanent place is carried out in early May, when 2-3 pairs of leaves are formed on the seedlings. By this time, the soil will have time to warm up to a temperature of 10-13 ° C. The planting depth is 4 cm, the distance between the rows should be 50 cm, and between the holes - 70 cm.
Care
The variety does not require special care. It is only important to follow the rules for watering, weeding and feeding.
- The culture is watered once a week with an abundant amount of water: about 3 liters of water per bush. The plant is irrigated in the morning or evening so that the sun does not evaporate the moisture.
- After watering, the area is weeded out and the soil is loosened to get rid of the crust.
- The plant is fed twice during the growing season.
The first fertilization is carried out 20 days after planting seedlings or seeds. Use a solution from organic matter (2 kg of humus or bird droppings per 10 liters of water). 1.5 liters of solution per bush.
The second feeding is carried out with the beginning of flowering. At this point, it is advisable to prepare solutions from mineral fertilizers (20 mg of superphosphate and 10 mg of ammonium nitrate per 10 liters of water). 2 liters of solution per bush.
Parasites and diseases
The main diseases and pests of this variety are keela, tobacco mosaic, flea beetles and aphids. You can get rid of keels by spraying with colloidal salt (2 mg per 10 liters of water). You can fight the tobacco mosaic with the help of Regent or Tabu insecticides (5 mg of preparations per 10 liters of water).
You can fight against aphids with the help of medicinal preparations. It is better to spray with Oxyhom (10 mg per 5 l of water).
To combat the flea, the area is sprayed with Bordeaux liquid (2 mg per 10 liters of water).

Languadeaker is especially popular among gardeners. Due to its good shelf life, this variety is often grown on industrial sites for the purpose of further sale. Ordinary people grow the culture because of its excellent taste and versatility of use. Cabbage is not afraid of almost any disease, only preventive measures are required.
