Dignity

The pear variety Noyabrskaya has a number of advantages:

  • winter hardiness;
  • high and stable yield;
  • good transportability and long shelf life;
  • excellent taste of fruits;
  • large enough fruits;
  • resistance to common fungal diseases.

Landing

The first step is choosing a landing site. A sunny area is best suited, which will be protected from winds and drafts.Better - from the south side, since the plants are very thermophilic.

Pear saplings of the Noyabrskaya variety can be planted both in autumn and in spring. The first option is suitable for regions with a warmer climate; for colder climates, only spring planting is suitable.

Planting pit preparation

The planting hole should be prepared in advance. If you plan to plant in spring - from autumn, if autumn - in 3-4 weeks. The size of the pit should be selected depending on the size of the root system: the roots in it should not be bent. It is recommended to make it at least 1 m in diameter and 60 cm in depth.

Mix preparation

It is necessary to prepare a fertile mixture, which consists of humus, soil and superphosphate (150 g). You can also add 50-70 grams of potash fertilizer. The mixture is poured into the bottom of the pit in the form of a small hill before planting.

Disembarkation

The seedlings must first be immersed in water for 10 hours. A peg is driven into the center of the landing pit, to which the trunk will be tied up after landing. The plant is lowered into a hole, the roots are straightened and carefully covered with soil. Care must be taken that the root collar remains above the ground. After planting, the soil is well compacted and the seedlings are watered abundantly (20-25 liters of water).

Care

Pear Noyabrskaya needs regular care. She needs: watering, pruning, fertilizing, weeding, weeding and mulching.

Watering

Mature plants, like young trees, prefer moist soil. Sprinkler irrigation is preferable, or irrigation in a groove around the tree. During the first summer after planting, the tree must be watered two to five times. Further, the number of irrigations depends on weather conditions and soil conditions, but at least two to three times in spring and summer.

Pruning

The first pruning should be done no earlier than in the second year of life. This process is then repeated twice a year. During the spring pruning, a crown is formed, and in the fall, dry, damaged and diseased branches are removed.

Mulching

Mulching is carried out immediately after planting. It is recommended that you repeat this process every time you water the trees.

In order for the plant to survive the winter well, the soil around is well mulched with peat, which makes it possible to protect the root system from freezing.

Top dressing

An important part of the care is feeding. In the spring, saltpeter is used as a root top dressing, which is introduced during the swelling of the buds. In May, the plant is fertilized with organic matter, and in the summer with urea, alternating with phosphorus and potassium dressings. In autumn (after harvesting the fruits), wood ash is used, as well as mineral fertilizers.

The soil on the site must be loosened regularly to improve the access of air, water and fertilizer to the root system.

Possible diseases

Pear Noyabrskaya has good immunity to various fungal diseases. But there are many others that can infect trees and fruits.

Having found a black cancer, it is necessary to immediately remove all affected branches and leaves, and the wounds on the trunk are cleaned and treated with a 2% solution of Bordeaux liquid.

In order to avoid cytosporosis, it is necessary to carry out autumn sanitary pruning, as well as whiten tree trunks. Bordeaux liquid is used for treatment.

Among the insects that infect the variety:

  • honeydew;
  • green aphid;
  • mothball.

The characteristic of the pear Noyabrskaya variety demonstrates its huge number of advantages compared with minor disadvantages. Although plants need constant care, protection from diseases and pests, they will be able to thank you with a regular good harvest and tasty fruits.
